I really wanted to share this with you because I think it is so important and critical to your success. Here is the deal. I did my very first ever Blab coffee chat this week with a fellow coach based in Milan, Italy who I met in my Mastermind group and we had a blast.

During our conversation something interesting came up and I wanted to take a moment and bring it to your attention in case it is something that you struggle with. As you might know I recently did a small beta test group program about Facebook Ads and during our chat the topic that came up is what happens AFTER you put your ad out there.

At first I did not quite understand because I thought well, after it’s out there you get people to download your freebie or register for your online training and add them to your list. But the question was:

What about putting yourself out there to the wider public and getting a negative reaction. How do you deal with that?

Personally, nobody has ever contacted me about one of my ads expressing a negative sentiment. I am not saying it could not happen. So let’s play it that scenario through.

If that were to happen, ultimately the fear that comes up is about being judged and being vulnerable, opening yourself up to criticism, am I right? I get it. I remember my first ever public Facebook post and how long I was staring at the “post” button before I actually hit it because I was afraid of what people might think.

But here is the thing, in business people are inevitably going to disagree with you at one point or another. So the question is: Are you going to let that stop you?

I remember my coach telling me the first thing you have to learn in business is to NOT care what anybody else thinks of you good or bad.

Because it does not matter. It is not relevant. This is your business, your vision, not anybody else’s. If you want to be successful as an entrepreneur you need to become visible, you need to be out there every day showing up whether that is through running Facebook ads, posting or going live and talking to your audience in person or to plug your business offline.

So how do you push through the fear? Simple:

By wanting your success more than you allow the fear to get the best of you.

Every time the fear is starting to creep up, acknowledge it, take a deep breath and then DO IT ANYWAY and have faith that you are supported and things will work out. The more you flex that muscle the better you get at it.

Just think about this for a moment: Fear and FAITH are both invisible. Would you agree that’s true? So why is it then that you buy into fear so much easier than into faith?

Being a business owner requires you to have faith and be wiling to stretch and grow. The EGO is trying to keep you in your comfort zone and that means playing small. Stretching and growing is uncomfortable, believe me I know.

But if you are really serious about going after your dreams and desires full force you must become comfortable being uncomfortable. So go out there become visible. There are people out there only you can help and they can only find you if you put yourself out there.

Much love,
Simona
