I am writing to you today from Mexico City where I am doing some intensive marketing training sessions. Feeling immensely grateful for all the opportunities the Universe is sending my way.
Just two short years ago I would have never imagined myself in a speaking role. You see, I used to be terrified of standing in front of a crowd. This all changed when I made a decision to work on my own personal development and sought out mentors who were light years ahead of me. I remember it so well.
At my first live event, I promised myself not to leave without stepping up to the mic and asking at least 1 question. I waited till the last day, almost the last moment before I worked up the courage.
When I finally did my mentor invited me on stage. There I was standing in front of a group of over 150 women entrepreneurs from all over the globe.
“How does it feel? she asked? I had to admit it felt pretty good.
“Take it all in’, she encouraged,”
It was then and there that something changed inside of me.
I started seeing a bigger version of me that wanted to come out and greet the world.
I got a glimpse that there was more to life than settling for less which is what I had been doing for most of my life because that is what I was taught.
Fast forward to today and yes, I still get nervous and fear still comes up but now I know that I can push through it and DO IT ANYWAYS. Before I allowed it to stop me. I broke my pattern of being intimidated and staying stuck playing small.
You see, everything starts when you make ONE decision.
The best part about my job is that I find immense joy in working with teams and clients who are completely lit up by what it is they do and committed to doing the work. Educating a brand new team on our upcoming product slate over the last three days, seeing their eyes filled with passion at the possibilities and having impromptu brainstorming sessions is what truly excites me.
The same goes for my clients. When I first started my business I would take on anybody and everybody that came to me for help marketing their business. Even when I would get a sense that their heart was not fully in it.
Now I choose who I want to work with as much as my clients choose that they want to work with me. It’s a better proposition for both the client and me because I know they are serious about doing the work and the energy in the sessions is one of high vibration that allows for joyful creation.
What I love best about working with my private clients is digging deep to help them find the one thing they do differently than everybody else in their field and then craft a message around it that truly speaks to their ideal clients, so they can be seen stand out from the crowd.
You see once you know what differentiates you from everybody else in your field it is so much easier to create content that attracts your tribe. People who are truly interested to hear from you every week and have a real need for the product or service you offer.
If being in the movie industry has taught me one thing it’s to never give up to always try one more time.
Say the movie flops at the box office, I know I still have an opportunity to find the one thing that will sell it on video. Yes it means I have to roll up my sleeves and dig in deep to find it. But that is just it: that is what I love to do. And I know it’s always there, I always find it and so can you.
If you are having a moment just about now where you are not getting the result you want and fear and doubt start creeping in (by the way we have all been there) I encourage you to try one more time, make one more call, do one more webinar, put out one more post…
Trust and believe that it’s totally here for you.
If you have ever read Napoleon Hill’s “Think And Grow Rich” you know he talks about stopping three feet from gold. Hot on the heels of your biggest failure awaits your biggest success. Look at what you perceive as failure as your teacher and ask yourself the better question:
“What can I do differently next time?
Just think about the power you have inside of you. With ONE decision you can change your outcome. The question is what you will choose because ultimately your success is YOUR choice.
Much love,
Simona
