I wanted to share this little tale with you in case you are getting ready to do a webinar or online training of sorts. If you’ve ever hosted one you know there is a lot of preparation that goes into it.
From the content creation itself to the promotion, to the technical back-end, the well thought out email sequence leading up to the event and the urgency building follow up sequence,…
I was super jazzed for my most recent online training about “How you can create Blockbuster Facebook Ads that convert”. I had worked on the content for a full week and I was trying out a brand-new platform, Google Hangouts.
Me and my VA even did a test run the day before where everything worked beautifully. I was on early the day of the training to make sure I was prepared.
And then this happened,…
Something went wrong and the Hangout would not go live…. there I was 5 minutes before showtime, sweating bullets, literally as I saw people piling in and knew I would not be able to start the training.
You know what saved me?
My super professional VA who not only fixed the tech glitch within a few minutes but also kept my audience engaged in the chat room by talking to them, letting them know exactly what was going on an assuring them that we’d be live shortly.
In a matter of minutes I was able to deliver the training as I had intended. I think I might have actually supercharged it because I was fueled by so much adrenaline…
My point is that as an entrepreneur it is so important to be supported by a great team, so you can focus on your zone of genius and do what it is you do best. Yes, it’s an investment but it paid off tenfold for me the other day.
I highly recommend to have somebody assisting you when you deliver your training, so you can
KEEP CALM & CARRY ON
when Mercury Retrograde throws a glitch your way,…
Much love,
